Ingredients

Scale

Pizza Base

  • 1 large Stone Fire 14-inch pizza crust

Toppings

  • 1 bag frozen spinach
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, diced
  • 3/4 cup white pizza sauce (see notes)
  • Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
  • Red pepper flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it’s hot enough for a crispy pizza crust.
  2. Cook Spinach: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the frozen spinach until all excess water has evaporated. Season the spinach with salt and pepper to taste, then remove it from the heat and set aside.
  3. Assemble Pizza: Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or a pizza pan. Evenly spread the white pizza sauce over the surface of the crust. Distribute the cooked spinach evenly on top, followed by the diced sun-dried tomatoes.
  4. Bake Pizza: Bake the assembled pizza in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and the toppings are heated through.
  5. Finish and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Slice the pizza and serve while hot.

Notes

  • The white pizza sauce can be a simple béchamel or an Alfredo sauce, or store-bought white pizza sauce, depending on preference.
  • Sun-dried tomatoes add a tangy sweetness that balances the creamy white sauce and spinach.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or Italian herbs to the spinach while cooking.
  • Ensure the spinach is well-drained to avoid soggy pizza crust.
