Ingredients

Scale

Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets (56 oz each)

Topping

  • 1 Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese (5.2 oz)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Garnish (Optional)

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep Oven & Pan: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. This prevents the salmon from sticking and makes cleanup easier.
  2. Prepare Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure even roasting. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Spread the softened Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese generously over the top of each fillet, then sprinkle with lemon zest for brightness.
  3. Arrange & Bake: Place the salmon fillets on one side of the parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 18 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). The cheese will be melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
  4. Finish & Serve: Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the hot salmon. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Allow the salmon to rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving with lemon wedges for added flavor.

Notes

  • Be sure to pat the salmon dry before seasoning to get a nice roasted texture.
  • Feel free to substitute Boursin with any soft herbed cheese if unavailable.
  • Check the salmon at 12 minutes to avoid overcooking; thinner fillets will cook faster.
  • Resting the salmon after baking helps retain moisture and flavor.
  • Serve with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
