Scale

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 large orange, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add 4 black tea bags, and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags carefully.
  2. Add orange and cinnamon: Add 1 large orange sliced and 2 cinnamon sticks to the brewed tea while it’s still warm. Stir gently to infuse the flavors.
  3. Chill the tea: Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
  4. Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled orange cinnamon tea over the ice. Garnish with additional orange slices or a cinnamon stick if desired.

Notes

  • Black tea can be substituted with green tea for a lighter flavor.
  • Adjust the number of cinnamon sticks depending on how strong you want the cinnamon flavor.
  • For a sweeter drink, add honey or sugar while the tea is warm to dissolve easily.
  • Use fresh orange slices for the best citrus aroma and taste.
