Fruits and Juice
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
Sweeteners
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
Liquids and Add-ons
- 3 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, as needed for serving
- Blend Peaches: Place the fresh peeled and sliced peaches into a blender along with 1.5 cups of cold water. Blend until smooth to create the peach puree base.
- Strain Puree: If you prefer a smoother lemonade, strain the blended peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp and solids.
- Mix Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the strained peach puree with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar or honey. Stir thoroughly until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
- Add Water and Chill: Add the remaining 1.5 cups of cold water to the pitcher, stir well to combine all ingredients evenly. Refrigerate the peach lemonade for at least 30 minutes to chill and allow flavors to meld.
- Serve: Serve the chilled peach lemonade over a glass filled with ice cubes for a refreshing drink.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar or honey according to your taste.
- If peaches are out of season, frozen peaches can be used as an alternative.
- For an extra fizzy touch, substitute cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
- The lemonade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but it is best enjoyed fresh.
