Ingredients
- 1 whole bulb of garlic
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened

- Prepare the Garlic: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves, drizzle with a little olive oil, and wrap it in aluminum foil.
- Roast the Garlic: Place the wrapped garlic bulb in the oven and roast for about 35-40 minutes, until the cloves are soft and golden brown. Remove and let cool.
- Mix into Butter: Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins and mash them gently with a fork. In a bowl, combine the roasted garlic and softened butter, add salt, and mix until smooth and well incorporated.
- Chill and Serve: Transfer the roasted garlic butter into a container and refrigerate until firm. Serve spread on bread, melted over vegetables, or as a flavorful addition to your favorite dishes.
