Ingredients

Scale

Dough

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent dough

Filling

  • 4 large eggs, scrambled
  • 1 cup cooked sausage or bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Filling: Cook and scramble the eggs until fully set but still moist. Cook the sausage or bacon until browned and crispy, then chop into bite-sized pieces. Grate or shred the cheese if not pre-shredded.
  2. Assemble Rolls: Unroll the refrigerated crescent dough and separate into individual triangles. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, a portion of cooked sausage or bacon, and a sprinkle of cheese on the wider end of each triangle.
  3. Roll Up: Roll each triangle starting from the wider end towards the pointed tip, enclosing the filling inside. Place rolled dough seam side down in a greased baking dish, spacing them slightly apart.
  4. Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for about 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute sausage or bacon with vegetarian sausage for a meatless option.
  • Try different cheeses such as pepper jack or gouda for varied flavors.
  • Serve with salsa, hot sauce, or ketchup for extra taste.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
